Christmas Treats

Christmas Treats

I can’t believe it’s already Christmas Eve, this month has just flown by! I feel like it was just last week that we were counting down the days to Christmas! By now I’m sure everyone has finished their shopping (hopefully), and started to sit back and relax till the big guy arrives. The best way to prepare for Santas arrival is by making some delicious festive treats. These treats are perfect to decorate anyway you please and make a fun family activity. Also if there’s someone you still haven’t got a gift for, why not put together a little box of these goodies. The three treats are, Christmas Tree Chocolate Brownies, Oreo Truffles, and Sugar Cookies with a Royal Icing. I saw the brownies on Pinterest a couple of years ago, but didn’t get around to making them. This one is definitely the easiest, especially if you use a box mix. I love the Oreo truffles, they are my favourite, however making them into little balls means you will definitely eat way more than you should! The sugar cookie recipe is a classic, it’s really quite simple, and if you have a kitchen aid blender, you can prep everything in minutes! Be creative with these, there are so many different Christmas related cookie cutters, sprinkles and decorations out there! So pour a tall glass of milk and enjoy these treats!
